Copper phone lines are expensive to keep. FiberFed POTS Replacement uses an analog terminal adapter (ATA) to present analog ports, delivered over Ethernet or over our partner cellular network.
How it works
The ATA gives your analog telephone one or more standard ports. It is a business service and an add-on to an underlying FiberFed service.
Check your devices first
FiberFed does not certify or support alarm panels, fire alarms, elevator telephones, card terminals, medical monitoring or fax machines over voice service. Some of these fail without any indication. Check each device with its vendor and the authority having jurisdiction, and keep another connection where its function requires one.
911
Emergency calling depends on an accurate registered location for each endpoint. Section 3 of the Voice Services Rider sets out the limits and what you need to do.
